Adoption; the Loving Option
July 14, 2026

Years ago, pro-abortion supporters adopted the phrase “Adoption: the loving option” as an alternative to abortion. This article is the first in a series about The Lord, the God of the Jewish people, adopting and engrafting non-Jewish people into His family. God was showing us thousands of years ago how “adoption was the loving option” by making Jews and non-Jews His people, a blended family.

If you weren’t born into Judaism, you are a Gentile; no matter your ethnicity or race, all non-Jews are Gentiles. My goal is to show you in Scripture that it has always been God’s heart to include all people in His covenants; also, that the Jewish people, Jacob and his family, were chosen to experience God and learn His ways, so we could experience God and know His ways, also. The children of Israel were an example for us to know God’s holiness and understand that He isn’t human and that sometimes His ways are peculiar to us. Our assignment is to simply obey and follow; understanding isn’t always included in the commandments we’re given. It is also my deep desire to show you the Lord’s heart for our relationship with Israel and the Jewish people. I have no motive to be political, though this topic has been very politicized in my opinion. My goal is to share God’s Word and His heart as they are shown and expressed in the Bible. It is my privilege and honor to share this most precious and affectionate part of God’s Word, His Ways, and His heart for you and me and all his children, as we learn to lovingly bless one another and be blessed by Him.

God said to him, ‘Your name is Jacob, but you will no longer be called Jacob; your name will be Israel.’ So, he named him Israel, and God said to him, ‘I am God Almighty; be fruitful and increase in number. A nation and a community of nations will come from you, and kings will be among your descendants. The land I gave to Abraham and Isaac I also give to you, and I will give this land to our descendants after you.”
Genesis 35:10-12 NIV
