The Lord is Working for You
August 7, 2025

“I will answer them before they even call to me. While they are still talking about their needs, I will go ahead and answer their prayers!” Isaiah 65:24 (NLT)

Praying is talking to The Lord, and it’s essential for many reasons. Remember, while you’re asking, He has already begun to bring the answer. If it takes longer than you think it should trust The Lord, He’s working. I had a prayer request years ago. I asked and asked The Lord to meet a need in my life. I had faith, I believed, and I asked; yet day after day, month after month, and year after year I waited. I started to get a little attitude and told The Lord something to the effect of, “I’m doing my part, why aren’t you answering?”
I felt The Lord speak to me in my heart. He said, “From the first time you asked I started things in motion, but I chose to use people, and until they obey, you will wait. Remember this the next time you know I want you to do something and you delay in obedience.” My attitude changed immediately, and I waited patiently. When He answered, it was magnificent!

The Lord’s love for us is beyond our understanding. He wants to meet your needs and answer your prayers. When you ask, He’s already begun to respond.
