God will Provide

“And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed, He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.” Genesis 3:15

Genesis 3:15 is the first mention of the Savior of the world. The Lord, God was providing for us thousands of years before we were born. Notice the capitalization of the words “He “and “His” in Gen. 3:15? That is Jesus right there in Genesis chapter 3. Adam and Eve’s disobedience brought sin into the perfect world God made for us – the need for restoration of our relationship with our heavenly Father couldn’t have been greater. Before Christ lived and died for us, God was illustrating His love by putting into motion the greatest rescue plan ever conceived. A plan to save you and I from the tragic impact and consequences of sin.

If God was ready to send His only, perfect Son at the moment sin came into the world for us, we should rest assured there is no need too small or too large to bring Him in prayer. There isn’t anything I wouldn’t do for my children when they have needs, and I’m not a better parent than The Lord. It’s God’s will and desire to provide for His children – and Jesus is proof.
